Bernard Barnes and Harald Gassner talk about the Gallery

Last year, on 20th August 2014, there was the first Giant Puppet parade in Barmouth and an Open Day of performances at the gallery. This post is to share a short recording that was made of Bernard Barnes talking about how he came across the hall and why he knew he wanted to have it as a studio and to create a centre for creative people. Harald Gassner talks about meeting Bernard and why he bought St John’s Hall to enable it to become the place it is today.

We have just installed a plugin to allow sound recordings to be played on this site, so this is an experiment as well.
