There was a good turn out on Monday for the celebration event. Lovely harp music early on from Chris Knowles, and acoustic folk session towards the end of the evening. These pictures should give you a flavour of Keith’s exhibition which is on until 30th July, but please do come and have a good look at them in the flesh. Private View: Jon George Exhibition

This is the private view of the exhibition that is in the gallery from 4th – 30th September Paintings and Prints by Jon George. The private view is really a chance to get together, in a party atmosphere with refreshments and music, to preview the exhibition and meet the artist. All are welcome.

It was wonderful to see so many friends old and new at the party on Friday (3rd June). Great music and chat in a wonderful environment. A few red dots on the pictures too. The exhibition of landscape photographs by Helen Iles is on until 30th June (read more) and the Fragments of Barmouth paintings by Bernard Barnes will be available to see until the end of September (read more).

Barmouth Puppet Carnival This Weekend (19 & 20 September)


This is just a quick post to say that the giant puppets that have been under construction for the past few weeks will be walking through the town on Saturday 19th Sept and Sunday 20th September from 2pm to 3pm. Catch them on the promenade.

If you want to be part of the parade call in the the Gallery from 11 am. Volunteers welcome to operate the puppets, no experience required. Roles for large and small.

There will be live music on Saturday evening from 7:30pm. Bring your own drink.
